В США собака спасла осиротевшего медвежонка от холодной смерти — ФОТО, ВИДЕО

Собака, вероятно, нашла его по звуку. У животных очень развиты родительские инстинкты, а потому она не могла бросить малыша умирать.

Сотрудники Службы охраны рыбных ресурсов и дикой природы США предположили, что малыш, скорее всего, стал сиротой. Иначе мама-медведица ни за что не подпустила бы к нему чужих.

Офицеры забрали малыша в Центр дикой природы штата Вирджиния в городе Уэйнсборо. Спасенный медвежонок – самец, которому было около двух недель. Он абсолютно здоров, весил чуть больше, чем полкило, и имел незначительные обезвожен. Его поместили в инкубатор и решили кормить из бутылочки.

On January 22, an infant Black Bear cub was found in Craig County by power line workers; the cub was on top of a brush pile and was nearly frozen. The workers thought the cub was dead at first, but after they warmed the infant bear, she started crying. . . . The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries took the cub and immediately began looking for potential foster mother bears. Unfortunately, they were not able to find dens with cubs, so the orphaned cub could not be placed with these females. . . . The infant bear was admitted to the Center as patient #20-0064 on January 28. Dr. Ernesto, the Center’s hospital director, found that the small female cub was bright and alert and in good body condition. There were no significant findings on the physical examination and radiographs, except mild dehydration and minor wheezing sounds in the bear’s right lung, likely due to a small amount of aspirated formula. The bear was given fluids and was set up in one of the Center’s incubators. . . . Соседкой медвежонка стала медведица немного старше – ее 28 января нашли почти замерзшей на свалке.

Оба медвежонка стали самыми маленькими представителями своего вида, которые когда-нибудь попадали в Центр дикой природы.

Ветеринары положили малышку с входом в вольер 100-килограммовой медведицы. Та приютила малышку и теперь воспитывает как собственного ребенка.

Сейчас найденному медвежонку ищут семью, но спасатели уверяют – он в полной безопасности.

Напомним, как сообщал ранее "УРА-Информ", в Соединенных Штатах Америки пес Сьерра во время обнаружил у своей хозяйки рак, не позволив ей погибнуть.
